You should have a proper qualification as well. When choosing for a course you will have to be careful, choose one that gives you an accredited qualification. The course must give good knowledge and all the ins and outs of the interior designing industry. Starting from the basics of interior designing and history of interior design it should explore design elements and principles in details, and should give complete knowledge of choosing appropriate colour schemes, lighting schemes, soft furnishings, floors, walls , ceilings and complete interiors and finally it should prepare you for starting your own interior design practice.
